The Libertyville Township Gift Fund is a registered 501C3 which supports the Libertyville Township Food Pantry and the Community Emergency Assistance Program. The 501C3 status allows the Township to partner with the Northern Illinois Food Bank and purchase food at a significantly reduced rate. There are no public funds used to purchase food for the pantry. The food pantry is available to any Libertyville Township resident in need of food. Proof of residency is required.
The Community Emergency Fund is administered by the Township Supervisor and is used to assist those with immediate needs who may not otherwise qualify for assistance. Your donation to this fund is tax deductible. The Community Emergency Assistance Program provides assistance to Libertyville Township residents who are facing a financial emergency i.e. eviction, utility shut-off, etc. Applications for assistance are available by contacting Libertyville Township.
