Libertyville Township food pantry is open on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. It is open to any Libertyville Township resident who provides proof of residency. The following documents are required as proof of residency and family members residing in the home:
- Photo Id
- A recent utility bill for proof of residency is required.
- Proof is required for the Reason for Assistance: SSI, TANF, Unemployment, LIHEAP, Senior Freeze, Medicaid, and/or Subsidized Housing.
- A copy of the most recent Public Aid Medical card. Please bring copies of Social Security cards for children residing in your home.
- Any other others living in the home will need to bring in proof of their residency, such as mail received by them at the identified address.
Drivers Licenses are NOT accepted as identification for proof of residency.

Donations
The Food Pantry is grateful for the food and cash donations it receives from the community. Volunteer workers and donations of nonperishable foods are always appreciated. We request that you schedule ahead with the Township if your organization is planning a food collection so we can coordinate pickup by Township personnel. Monetary tax deductible donations (payable to the Libertyville Township Gift Fund) are used to purchase food through our partnership with the Northern Illinois Food Bank at greatly reduced prices. Donations are accepted Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Please click here for a list of items needed.
